And this is where it starts... remember everyone getting all upset because suddenly it became OK to monitor anyone as long as they became a "terrorist"? If you have the ability to label anyone who commits a crime as a terrorist, you get free reign to monitor, prosecute, and treat anyone you want as a terrorist -- and thus, strip the rights away from anyone you want to.
These guys aren't terrorists. They're criminals, plain and simple.
